This blue gilt wall letter is hand carved from sustainable wood and is gilded with a metal leaf. The upper surface has a gilded finish and the wooden letter is beveled, the back is flat. They are light enough to attach to a wall using heavy duty adhesive pads, Velcro tape, adhesive, sticky tack or they can be secured with nails using a similar method to hanging a plate. Some letters are free standing but all need to be supported at the base to prevent them falling over. Others you can just lean against the wall.
We supply the full alphabet, numbers and symbols in 1 size. They look good lined up or even better mixed. They make original monograms and personalised gifts and look great on a gallery wall. If used for exterior signage we recommend an extra coat of waterproof varnish, front and back, before fixing.
The POSH Graffiti Old English font is based on Caslon Old Face serif font. Each letter is handcrafted by a group of artisan woodcarvers in a Balinese rice farming village. We have worked with them for over 25 years. The letters are packed at source in a branded cardboard box and posted to the customer in the same box to avoid wasteful double packing. No plastic is used. They are designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
