POSH Graffiti Hand Painted Floral Wooden Number 7
This ethically made wooden wall number 7 is hand carved from wood and carefully coated with a thin layer of plaster to create a smooth surface for painting. Each number of the alphabet has a signature floral pattern originally created by Emily which is skilfully painted by hand using multiple layers of paint by one of our painters. They are so talented that each number 7 hardly differs but it is in fact an original interpretation of the design so every number is a work of art. The top of the wooden number is bevelled but the back is flat. They are surprisingly light and easy to attach to a wall using good quality adhesive pads, Velcro tape or suitable adhesive. They can be also be secured with nails using a similar method to hanging a China plate or they look good just leaning up against a wall. The floral numbers can be used to great effect on a wall. The number 7 is also free standing but we recommend you secure it with a small piece of sticky tack to prevent it from falling over.
We supply the full alphabet, plus numbers and the ampersand symbol in the 12cm and 23cm size so you can choose which sizes suits your budget and space.
The POSH Graffiti Old English letter style is an original design by Emily Readett-Bayley based on the medieval Caslon Old Face font. We have worked with the same community of artisan woodcarvers and painters in Bali for over 25 years. Once the design is completed and the paint is dry they are packed in a special POSH Graffiti box to protect them and they are posted to the customer in the same box to avoid wasteful double packing. No plastic is used. They are designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
